Jo Packham

Jo Packham, the creator/Editor-in-Chief of WHERE WOMEN CREATE, has been a leading innovator in the handmade publishing market for more than 40 years. A successful entrepreneur with her own publishing companies, Chapelle Ltd. And WWC PRESS, she has authored, compiled, or packaged more than 1,000 titles for publishers including Barnes & Noble, Time Warner, Meredith, Rodale, Chronicle, Random House, and others.

Jo is currently partnering with Disticor Publishing to produce the best-selling magazines: WHERE WOMEN CREATE, Inspiring Work Spaces of Extraordinary Women; where women create WORK, The Passion of Success; WHERE WOMEN COOK, The Heart & Soul of Cooking; and her newest imprint: WHAT WOMEN CREATE, Inspiration for Your Imagination.

Between 2000 and 2005 Jo created the Historic 25 Association and together with her daughter Sara Toliver, and several other Historic 25 business owners, worked closely with Mayor Godfrey to actively begin the revitalization and growth of 25h Street.

Jo was Chair of Christmas Village for 11 years and responsible for rebuilding it to become the largest holiday celebration in the state of Utah. She was, also, Chair of The Arts for Ogden Pioneer Days during their 75h Anniversary where her chief responsibility was the creation of the Artist’s Painted Horses on display in downtown Ogden. Jo was born and raised in Ogden.
