MOMENTS

MOMENTS is a one-night experimental art event showcasing performative, ephemeral, temporary, sound and light-based art.
MOMENTS will reinforce and elevate Ogden’s May 5 First Friday Art Stroll with work from more
than 20 local and national artists: video projections, dance performances, music, temporary
installations, light-based sculpture, participatory art projects, and more.

Facebook Event Page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1399209273463565/

MOMENTS will be free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy interventions, installations,
projections and participatory, community-based art projects across some 20 sites (many currently
vacant) throughout Ogden, from Union Station to Jefferson Ave.
Ogden First as the lead is working with community curators Jake McIntire and Eden Buxton, with
support from Weber State University, Ogden City Arts and Community & Economic Development
to produce this amazing event, which is intended to expand and diversify both the artistic
programming AND audience for the Stroll. We hope to grow this an annual event of national appeal.

MOMENTS is made possible through generous support from the following:

PLATFORMS

PLATFORMS has transformed a formerly vacant, disused lot at 25th and Adams, and turned it into a vibrant, community-oriented performance and exhibition venue!

We’re programming sculpture, dance, photography, video, musical and literary performances on custom-built, 13′ x 13′ decks designed to offer a unique PLATFORM for local artists to mount their project.

Stanchions and chainlink panels provided by Weber County RAMP now allow us to mount exhibitions of 2D and installations/weaving.

Here’s what the community has to say:
